This position is located in the Risk Management Agency (RMA), Deputy Administrator for Compliance, Northern Regional Compliance Office which serves the states of IA, MN, MT, ND, SD, WI, and WY. This position is designated as mobile work. Mobile work is a condition of employment and is characterized by routine and regular travel to conduct work in customer or other worksites as opposed to a single authorized alternative worksite.

Time-in-Grade Requirement: If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. You must meet this requirement by the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-14 level: At least one full-time year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal Service or private sector equivalent. Specialized experience is defined as developing, implementing, managing and coordinating a nationwide compliance program; independently performing complex investigative assignments for agricultural insurance or reinsurance programs; and planning, conducting and reporting on compliance reviews and investigations.
