Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEER as the Utilities Management Division Director in the Shore Technical Department of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Command (NAVFAC EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. This position has a control point equivalent to the GS-14, Step-10.

**Qualifications:**
This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. This position has an SPF which is current registration as a Professional Engineer(PE) from any state, the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 to GS-14 grade level or ND-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing administrative and supervisory duties; 2) directing the technical work of engineers; 3) managing financial resources for various types of funding (e.g. O&M, Procurement, RDT&E, etc.); 4) interpreting regulations and policies to execute projects or implement programs; and 5) managing utilities, energy, or infrastructure projects for DoD.
