Job Description
You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPFITTER) in the RIF PLANNING DIVISION, ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Salary: GS10: $76,395 - $99,308 GS 11: $83,935 - $109,122
**Qualifications:**
GS 11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating, planning and execution of structural maintenance actions for nuclear submarine refits. Perform maintenance actions and alterations with the effect to avoid production delays, scheduling conflicts, lack of material, and to improve work processes. Conduct in-depth research on parts and processes that support the above. GS 10: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Use of computer programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook; Knowledgeable of requirements for content of work packages, (AWR's, FWP's and CWP's); reading and interpreting drawings, documents and tech manuals. Knowledgeable with the content of the WP 278/1688 and criteria of associated GIB's. Knowledgeable of welding and repair processes for structural components. Knowledgeable in the required OQE required to perform repairs, to include QA documentation and NDT (nondestructive testing) requirements associated with Trident Submarine components.
