Job Description
This position is located in the Communications and Marketing Department, Immediate Office, Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), U.S. House of Representatives (House).
**Qualifications:**
Qualifications: Applicants must submit a resume and writing sample (e.g., a press release or blog post), and meet the following requirements: Minimum: · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Advertising, Marketing; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. · 8-10 years of experience in marketing/communications with an advertising agency, on Capitol Hill, or within a marketing and communications department. · 3-5 years of progressive management or leadership experience. · Experience with marketing campaign management. · Strong understanding of branding strategies. · Ability to understand analytics and collect data to drive communications decisions. · Knowledge of project management tools (e.g.: ClickUp, Monday, Trello, etc.) · All employees within CAO are expected to demonstrate the following general competencies: Accountability, Adaptability, Collaboration, Communication, Customer Orientation, Knowledge of Relevant Policies, Procedures, and Processes, Priority Management, and Problem Resolution. *Continued employment is contingent upon satisfactorily completing a criminal history records check (or other applicable security clearance) and a pre-employment drug-test (pre-identified position only).
