Job Description
You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (ARATC) in the AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL DEPARTMENT of NAVAL AIR TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing simulators, computer based training systems, audio visual media and training devices; 2) Testing current Air Traffic Control policies and procedures sufficient to teach and evaluate students during principles of operation and lab training; 3) Providing formal classroom and practical laboratory instruction utilizing approved course materials, training aides, and other media in the basic skills area; 4) Providing instruction in terminal radar approach control procedures; and 5) Performing curriculum maintenance for the course material and all associated test items.
