**Qualifications:**
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Principles, practices, and methodologies to effectively anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control occupational health hazards, including expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, and the application of the hierarchy of controls, encompassing engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment (PPE). 2. Proficiency in developing sampling strategies and analyzing workplace contaminants is essential, as is the ability to effectively communicate complex risk information to diverse audiences. Strong program management skills necessary to manage and evaluate industrial hygiene programs in accordance with policies. 3. Knowledge of the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System - Industrial Hygiene (DOEHRS-IH) module. Including the ability to accurately input and maintain all IH data, generate reports for data analysis, track employee exposures, understand the system's core functionality, and troubleshoot basic issues.
