Job Description
You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Employee Benefits) in the USFF HR Services Branch, Executive Support Office of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
**Qualifications:**
FOR THE GS-09 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying knowledge of Office of Workers Compensation (OWCP), FECA and unemployment program laws and regulations. Experience applying complex fact findings, problem solving and techniques to resolve complex problems related to OWCP, FECA and unemployment. Experience applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to program related issues and studies to make recommendations for future actions. FOR THE GS-07 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience assisting in applying comprehensive knowledge of Office of Workers Compensation (OWCP), FECA and unemployment program laws and regulations. Experience assisting in applying complex fact findings, problem solving and techniques to resolve complex problems related to OWCP, FECA and unemployment. Experience assisting in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to program related issues and studies to make recommendations for future actions.
