About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Resource Management Office, Air Force Academy, Colorado. This position does include benefits. .

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience which has provided a general knowledge of the techniques for analyzing and evaluating system software and hardware requirements. Knowledge of DoD and Air Force automated data processing and networking standards, policies, and techniques. Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems and their interfaces; and higher level programming languages. Knowledge of data content and output options for a variety of administrative, scientific and/or technical program applications that are processed on any of several multi-program operating systems. Knowledge of facility environment and infrastructure to support computer systems. Ability to use and maintain a computer system, equipment, and software; analyze computer network, software, and hardware problems and develop effective and economical solutions; and train users on new computer systems. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. This position may be required to work other than normal duty hours and may be required to perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
