Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN)

This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity.

**Qualifications:**
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the 13 grade level in the Federal service: Strategic Leadership: Leads a team through the entire program lifecycle, from gathering and prioritizing customer requirements to defining the strategic vision and approving the final roadmap. Executive-Level Customer Engagement: Serves as an expert in assessing client needs and interacts with executive-level officials across the Department of War (DoW) and other government agencies to represent the organization's interests. Programmatic Influence: Provides senior-level leadership to critically influence service delivery success with federal partners and offers IT policy guidance to senior management to ensure alignment with agency priorities. IT Investment and Cost Management: Manages the Information Technology investment portfolio, including establishing metrics to measure and evaluate system performance and the total cost of ownership. High-Level Decision-Making: Functions as an expert in making sound, well-informed, and objective decisions by perceiving the impact and implications of those decisions to accomplish organizational goals, even in uncertain situations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
