Job Description

You will serve as either a COMPUTER ENGINEER, COMPUTER SCIENTIST, or DATA SCIENTIST in the DIGITAL ANALYTICS INFRASTRUCTURE AND TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENT (DAiTA) GROUP, INTEGRATED BATTLESPACE SIMULATION AND TEST (IBST) DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring effective configuration management practices, including version control, documentation, and change tracking, maintaining the integrity and traceability of software systems; 2) Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver innovative solutions that meet organizational goals; 3) A thorough understanding of software engineering best practices including debugging, testing, version control, and agile development methodologies; 4) Designing and developing software tools that support data analysis and visualization, ensuring usability, reliability, and performance; and 5) Providing technical expertise to recover, analyze, and modernize legacy software systems, converting them into efficient, maintainable, and scalable modern code.
