Job Description
You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14. This position has a control point of GS-13 step 10.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05-GS-11 or ND-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing expert consulting and advisory services to a command or agency on environmental restoration (ER); 2) Performing ER related innovative technology/methodology testing, evaluation, and optimization projects; 3) Providing sound technical advice drawn from cutting-edge information to improve site characterization, risk evaluation, or remedy selection/performance for protective and cost effective cleanups; 4) Writing environmental reports (e.g., technical reports/memorandums, technical guidance, fact sheets, issue papers) relevant to current projects or programs; 5) Communicating with internal and external stakeholders on project or contracting related issues; 6) Building partnerships with government and industry professionals. **NOTE** This information must be clearly supported in your resume.
