SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES of NAVAL STA NT RI.

**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following :1) Managing, planning or making short or long-range forecasts for issues related to fire to meet technological requirements; 2) Providing assistance, advice, and recommendations concerning fire protection/prevention; and 3) Reviewing reports and procedures to make suggestions on improvements to firefighting techniques and /or policies. NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position. This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications: Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Operations, Hazmat Incident Commander, Driver Operator/ Pumper, Fire Officer I, II, III, Fire Inspector I, II, Fire Instructor I and II. These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement. Also requires National Registry Emergency Medical Technician.
