Job Description
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the Military Sealift Commands Total Force Management Program Office (N1), Civilian Workforce Policy and Sustainment Division (N11), Civilian Human Resources Policy Branch (N11C) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying the principles, concepts and/or laws of employee benefits to evaluate or formulate policies. Experience applying human resources development (HRD) learning theories, concepts, laws, regulations and/or principles to evaluate or formulate policies in support of an organization's HRD program. Experience applying HR information systems concepts or methods to develop approaches sufficient to perform HR focused data analysis. Experience making recommendations to management on appropriate interventions to resolve complex interrelated HR problems and issues. Experience applying employee relations laws, regulations, and/or policies sufficient to serve as a senior level consultant within an organization. Experience applying travel and transportation regulations, and/or policies sufficient to evaluate or formulate policies in support of an organization's travel program. Experience utilizing HR automated systems and their reporting tools (e.g. DCPDS, HRLink, MyBiz/MyWorkplace, and DHAMS) to provide technical advice or assistance.
