Job Description

You will serve as a AIRCRAFT ARRESTING GEAR SYSTEMS REPAIRER FOREMAN in the Naval Air Station North Island of NB CORONADO.

**Qualifications:**

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is:1) Applying mechanical skills to understand charts, diagrams and maintenance manuals; 2) Conducting engine tune-ups/adjustments and timing engines according to established specifications; and 3) Maintaining related logs and maintenance schedule charts for assigned equipment to maintain compliance with service record changes and service bulletins.
