Job Description
You will serve as a Management & Program Analyst in the Human Capital Office (HCO) of NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND.
**Qualifications:**
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience should demonstrate the following: 1) Attention to Detail - is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail, 2) Customer Service - assesses the needs, providing information and/or technical assistance to clients and customers (to include the general public, individuals who work in or outside of the agency) committed to providing quality products and services, 3) Written Communication - conveys written information in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience, using correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Expresses thoughts persuasively and uses effective modes to reinforce message retention., 4) Oral Communication - expressing information (e.g. ideas or facts) to individuals or groups, taking into account the audience and nature of information (e.g. technical, sensitive, controversial); making clear and convincing oral presentations; listening to others, attending to nonverbal cues and responding appropriately; 5) Problem Solving - identifying problems; considering risks, determining accuracy and relevance of information; using sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations; and 6) Demonstrates skill in using job-relevant information systems and/or software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, automated research tools, database applications, and the Internet.
