Job Description
The Primary Purpose of the Position is to serve as Nursing Service program support in the execution of administrative and clerical responsibilities for assigned Nurse Managers in a prompt and expeditious manner.
**Qualifications:**
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 03/10/2026.You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: I possess at least (1) one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade in federal service (GS-4). Specialized experience demonstrates that the applicant possesses the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform the duties as a Time and Leave Clerk (OA). Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but not limited to: Understanding of standardized rules and regulations relating to entitlement and use of various categories of time and leave; experience in managing a customer service area, independently performing administrative, technical, clerical, and research duties; screens incoming phone calls and messages, and uses computer software, scanners, fax machines, photocopy machines, and electronic typewriters to create and edit documents; reproducing and distributing materials, and maintaining files. OR, Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have four (4) years of education above high school (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED). OR, Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education beyond four (4) years of high school. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED). Applicants for this position must possess a typing speed of 40 words per minute.
