Embedded Firmware Engineer (6-months limited contract)

<p><strong>Embedded Firmware Engineer</strong></p>
<p>This is a remote role, but you are welcome to join us at our Munich office</p>
<p>The role is limited to 6 months with a possible extension</p>
<h2>Tasks</h2>
<ul>
<li>Prototyping, integration, and development of drivers and components in embedded C for customer audio projects (TWS Earbuds, Headsets, Speakers ) according to the product requirements based on the various SoCs, primarily focused on Qualcomm platforms, specifically the new S7 platform</li>
<li>Hardware/SW configurations and measurements during prototyping and pre-production</li>
<li>Developing unit and integration tests to verify software integrity using analysis tools to check for potential issues in our codebase</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience as an Embedded Engineer</li>
<li>Strong C coding skills, in particular for embedded systems</li>
<li>Worked with one or more of the following QCOMM Bluetooth SoCs: QCC51**, QCC309*, QCC71**</li>
<li>Experience in design, development, and debugging low-level software on embedded targets</li>
<li>Familiar with performing SDK (ADK) updates</li>
<li>Knowledge of common peripheral interfaces like SPI, UART, I2C, and USB</li>
<li>Experience in reading sensor datasheets and implementing drivers</li>
<li>Willingness to work in dynamic agile teams according to a Scrum or KanBan workflow</li>
<li>Fluent in written and spoken English</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Strong plus</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with QCC S7 or S5</li>
<li>Experience with Bluetooth or other wireless communications protocols</li>
<li>Experience with development on battery-driven devices (memory &#x26; power-constrained devices)</li>
<li>Prior experience working with mobile developers</li>
<li>Hardware familiarity (logic-analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power measurement equipment)</li>
<li>Experience with production processes and support</li>
<li>Experience with STM devices</li>
<li>Experience with charging topologies</li>
</ul>
