<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<p>We are looking for a motivated Backend Engineer – Integrations to support our team. You will have the unique opportunity to join us in a strong growth phase and participate in all backend-related activities, using the latest technologies on AWS. The role includes the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the Bring! backend services and infrastructure on AWS</li>
<li>You work closely with our product managers and commercial customers to integrate their offerings into our systems</li>
<li>You provide input for improvements and work with the backend team to make integrations more efficient and robust</li>
<li>You participate in sprint planning, in developing new features and in coordinating testing, releases and monitoring</li>
<li>You are an active part of the engineering team, contribute to learning activities and help improving our engineering process</li>

<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<p>At Bring! Labs we have high ambitions and the vision to change the way our customers communicate with consumers. To meet our expectations, your skills and experience should be as follows:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with Spring Boot based backend services in Java and/or Kotlin</li>
<li>Experience with RESTful APIs and with common SQL and NoSQL databases</li>
<li>Experience with developing and operating cloud-based backend services, preferably on AWS</li>
<li>Familiarity with the common tool ecosystem for development, testing, debugging, and performance benchmarking (IntelliJ, Gradle, Docker, Git, Jenkins, Postman)</li>
<li>You have worked with client-server, backend and integration architectures</li>
<li>You are a solution-oriented engineer with good people- and communication-skills</li>
<li>You are fluent in written and spoken English. <strong>Fluency in German is a major advantage</strong> and will help you succeed faster in this role</li>
