PROGRAM ANALYST

This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for providing advice, analysis, and recommendations, matters related to the development of the DHRA program review, POM, the development of issue papers, estimating savings related to efficiencies efforts, and guiding the implementation of process improvement initiatives. GS-13: $121,785 - $158,322. GS-14: $143,913 - $187,093

**Qualifications:**
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Assessing, analyzing, evaluating and recommending the development of program requirements affecting multiple complex programs in support of the Planning, Programming, Budget, & Execution (PPBE) process. Performing special studies, reviews, and leading working groups to derive savings for higher priority requirements. Using automated tools to perform data analysis and make recommendations to prioritize requirements. You may qualify at the GS-13, if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Assisting with performing data analysis of program review and evaluation. Identifying areas for review and inefficiencies for remedy through data collection and study results. Interpreting higher-level guidance to develop and draft organizational instructions, standard operating procedures, and desk guides for program review and POM development. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
