Video Editor - Social Ads (W/M/D)

<p>We need YOU: a Video Editor for Social Ads for our Performance Marketing team. You’ll turn in-house and creator-sourced footage into high-converting video ads for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. A hands-on role with real impact.</p>
<p><strong>Fluency in German is required in order to work with our content.</strong><br>

<p><strong>What you will do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Edit short-form, social-native video ads optimized for Instagram (Feed, Stories &#x26; Reels), Facebook and YouTube (including Shorts)</li>
<li>Turn our raw in-house footage and creator-submitted assets into engaging, conversion-focused creatives</li>
<li>Apply engaging hooks, pacing, dynamic cuts and sound design to maximise hook rate, hold rate and CTR.</li>
<li>Create multiple platform-specific versions (aspect ratios, length, captions, thumbnail options, pacing)</li>
<li>Implement direction from Creative Strategists and Performance Marketing team briefs</li>
<li>Rapidly iterate edits based on performance data and A/B test results</li>
<li>Support basic motion graphics and text animations for static-to-video and captioned ads</li>
<li>Prepare export-ready files with correct codecs, bitrates and naming conventions for ad platforms</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What you bring</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2+ years of professional video editing experience, specialising in engaging short-form social content and ads - ideally in an creative agency or in-house in a DTC brand</li>
<li>Proven portfolio of social ads or creator-style content</li>
<li>Strong storytelling sense, hook optimisation and timing for fast-scrolling environments</li>
<li>Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; good working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop</li>
<li>Experience with mobile editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar) is a nice to have</li>
<li>Confident with video formats, export settings and ad-platform technical requirements</li>
<li>Ability to work quickly in an iterative, fast-paced environment with high output expectations</li>
<li>Fluent in German and English</li>
