FOOD SERVICE WORKER BARISTA

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron Grounds Cafe, located at Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Texas. This position is Flexible, guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. May include nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in and knowledge of methods and procedures relating to specialty coffee preparation or similar activity. Barista must have knowledge of variety of drink recipes and knowledge of coffee beans and teas typically served at a specialty coffee operation. Must be able to know how to safely use the equipment such as an espresso machine. Must be able to memorize specialty coffee drink recipes. Must have the ability to hear and follow oral and or written instructions, work safely, and do simple arithmetic. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
