Internship – Procurement Category Management (m/f/d)

This Category Management Team is managing strategic supplier relationships, as well as risks, and driving sourcing initiatives focused on value creation and cost efficiency. This internship is <strong>full-time (40 hours per week) for 6 months</strong>, with the possibility of extension. It is <strong>based in Munich </strong>(hybrid model, with 3 days per week in the office).&nbsp;</span></p>

<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Opportunity to get to know strategic purchasing activities and insights into the entire procurement proces</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Support with tender and inquiry processes as well as the maintenance of supplier and contract data</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Preparation of market research, analysis of offers, and negotiations with suppliers in cooperation with relevant stakeholders</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Creating reports and conducting analyses on supplier contracts, spend, and more</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Contribution to the optimization and development of purchasing and supplier management solutions</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders<br></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Cooperation with Category Managers on initiatives to drive cost efficiencies<br></span></li>

<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Enrolled student or graduate in Business, Economics or a similar field</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ideally first practical experience in procurement, supplier management and development, of a start-up/dynamic company</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Fluent in English; proficiency in German</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Profound experience within MS Office (particularly Word and Excel)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong analytical and communication skills, readiness of mind and attention to detail</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Proactive, goal-driven personality, with a dedicated, team-oriented mindset</span></li>
