Backend Developer (PHP / Laravel) - Louco App

<p>Louco is building a new generation event discovery platform that connects users, creators and the entertainment industry. Our goal is not just to build another event app – we want to rethink how people find &#x26; attend events.</p>
<p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Backend Developer (PHP / Laravel)</strong> who wants to build a real product and work closely with our founders and tech lead.</p>
<h2>Tasks</h2>
<p>You will be responsible for building and scaling the backend infrastructure of the Louco platform.</p>
<p>Key areas include:</p>
<ul>
<li>API development for mobile applications</li>
<li>event discovery systems</li>
<li>ticketing infrastructure</li>
<li>social features and user interactions</li>
<li>payment integrations (Stripe)</li>
<li>search and recommendation systems</li>
</ul>
<p>You will work closely with:</p>
<ul>
<li>Flutter mobile developer</li>
<li>frontend developer</li>
<li>our tech lead and product owner team</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
<p>Our backend stack includes:</p>
<ul>
<li>PHP</li>
<li>Laravel</li>
<li>Typesense</li>
<li>Redis</li>
<li>MySQL / PostgreSQL</li>
<li>REST APIs</li>
<li>Docker</li>
<li>Stripe integrations</li>
<li>min. B2 English Level</li>
<li>DevOps / infrastructure experience and scalable backend systems</li>
<li>experience with high traffic platforms</li>
</ul>
<p>We are looking for someone who:</p>
<ul>
<li>has <strong>6+ years experience as a backend developer</strong></li>
<li>has strong experience with <strong>PHP and Laravel</strong></li>
<li>has built <strong>API</strong> Architecture <strong>for mobile applications</strong></li>
<li>has worked on <strong>social, streaming, event, ticketing or platform products</strong></li>
<li>has experience with <strong>payment systems (Stripe)</strong></li>
<li>understands <strong>scalable backend architecture</strong></li>
<li>has experience working in <strong>startup environments</strong></li>
<li>is comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines</li>
<li>writes <strong>clean, maintainable code</strong></li>
</ul>
