<p>At <strong>RepGuide</strong>, we’re building the <strong>digital backbone for the agricultural and construction equipment industry</strong>. Our platform structures and delivers highly heterogeneous technical data from multiple manufacturers — across languages, markets and environments.</p>

<li>Using AI tools to improve our development lifecycle (coding, reviews, automation)</li>
<li>Exploring AI-driven approaches to structure and standardize complex industrial data</li>
<li>Actively experimenting — not just talking about it</li>

<p>For our tech team in <strong>Hamburg</strong>, we’re looking for a Backend Engineer who wants to take responsibility for major parts of our TypeScript-based platform and help us move fast without breaking things that matter.</p>

<h2>Tasks</h2>
<p>You won’t just implement endpoints. You’ll shape core parts of the platform.</p>
<p><strong>Your responsibilities</strong> include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Owning and evolving key parts of our <strong>TypeScript</strong>-based backend architecture</li>
<li>Designing and refining our <strong>GraphQL</strong> APIs (schema design, performance, authentication, data modeling)</li>
<li>Integrating external and internal systems (REST and other interfaces)</li>
<li>Building <strong>services and automations</strong> that help us manage and transform complex data</li>
<li>Contributing to <strong>AI-assisted approaches for data structuring</strong> and internal tooling</li>
<li><strong>Ensuring maintainability</strong> through clean architecture, testing, documentation and best practices</li>
<li>Balancing rapid feature delivery with platform stability in a small, highly collaborative team</li>

<h2>Requirements</h2>
<p>We care less about formal titles and more about how you think and build.</p>
<p>You might be a great fit if you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Have <strong>solid backend experience</strong> with TypeScript</li>
<li>Understand <strong>API design</strong> (GraphQL and/or REST) beyond just “making it work”</li>
<li><strong>Care about clean code</strong>, architecture and long-term maintainability</li>
<li>Are curious about using AI meaningfully in both development workflows and product features</li>
<li><strong>Take ownership</strong> instead of waiting for instructions</li>
<li>Enjoy balancing “shipping fast” with “building it right”</li>
<li>Like working in small teams where <strong>responsibility</strong> is shared — not delegated away</li>
