0398 INSTRUCTOR JROTC (NCO, ARMY)

About the Position: Department of Defense Education Activity, DoDEA Pacific East District. Zama Middle High School, Zama, Japan. This is an ARMY NCO JROTC position.

Who May Apply: U.S. Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Minimum Education Requirement: Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) - Army JROTC NCO Instructors must hold a current certification to teach JROTC from United States Army headquarters services department. AND Specialized Experience: Must meet one of the following pathways outlined in 10 USC 2031: Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps: A. Retired Army Non-Commissioned Officer or Army Warrant Officer whose qualifications are approved by the Secretary and the institution concerned and who request such employment; B. Army Non-Commissioned Officer or Army Warrant Officer who are separated with an honorable discharge within the past 5 years with at least 8 years of service and are approved by the Secretary and the institution concerned and who request such employment; or C.
