Sr. Lease Analyst

<p>With a culture of recognition and reputation for excellence, ELS is the ideal organization in which to develop a long and successful career!<br><br>ELS is hiring for the position of Sr. Lease Analyst in Tampa, Florida.<br><br><b>What you'll do:</b><br><br>The Senior Lease Analyst ensures the organized and efficient implementation of rent increase and lease information across a portfolio of properties. They will be a key leader in the implementation of policies and procedures along with creating efficiencies throughout the process. The ideal candidate is able to adapt to a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively within a team.<br><br><b>Your job will include:</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensure that all leasing activities and documentation comply with required policies and guidelines</li><li>Review and administer rent increase renewals along with notice requirements.</li><li>Train and develop new training as needed for property managers regarding procedures and property management system.</li><li>Analyze utility usage and work with properties to resolve utility billing issues</li><li>Create and distribute reports based on utility usage issues.</li><li>Summarize and report on property delinquency to operations management</li><li>Work directly with legal counsels to resolve lease and resident issues.</li><li>Partner with cross functional teams and departments on multiple projects.</li><li>Be an expert user with property management system and be able to assist others.</li><li>Implement new procedures to and document policies</li><li>Collaborate with other departments in order to achieve goals</li><li>Provide guidance and support to operations management</li><li>Audit turnover reports and verify the accuracy of reported rents.</li><li>Serve as an escalation point for issues with rent charges.</li><li>Manage data conversion process for upload into property management software</li></ul><br><b>Experience &amp; skills you'll need:</b><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance, or a related field</li><li>3+ years of experience preferably in a real estate or lease administration capacity</li><li>Experience with Accounting and/or property management software preferred</li><li>Ability to examine and interpret leases with strong attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail</li><li>Proven record of time management</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products, including mastering of Excel</li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li></ul><br>In return for your excellent skills and abilities, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, and vision plans, a generous 401(k) employer match, and paid vacations, holidays, and sick time.<br><br>We invite you to visit our web site at <a href="\&quot;http://www.equitylifestyleproperties.com/\&quot;" rel="noopener noreferrer">www.equitylifestyleproperties.com</a> for additional information regarding our exceptional resort communities.<br><br>As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we welcome and thank all applicants.</p>
