Working Student / Intern (Business Analytics & Market Research)

<p><strong>Routine Labs</strong> is a Berlin-based AI startup building automation infrastructure for regulated industries.</p>
<p>We combine LLM-based workflow generation with deterministic execution in production. The result is automation that is <strong>testable, auditable and reliable</strong> rather than a black box.</p>
<p>Our first focus is healthcare, but our ambition is broader: building the foundation for how automation can scale reliably across complex IT environments.</p>
<p>We are a funded early-stage startup, built by a team with experience in starting and scaling companies.</p>
<p>We are hiring for this position as either a <strong>Working Student</strong> or an <strong>Intern</strong>, depending on your availability.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Working Students</strong> can start immediately</li>
<li><strong>Interns</strong> would typically join in the summer</li>
<li><strong>Working Student hours:</strong> 16–20 hours per week during the semester</li>
<li>During semester breaks, there is the option to increase to <strong>up to 40 hours per week</strong></li>

<p>You will work closely with the leadership team at the intersection of market analysis, strategy and data-driven decision-making.</p>
<h2>Tasks</h2>
<p><strong>Market Research</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Analyse market segments</li>
<li>Structure TAM, SAM and SOM models</li>
<li>Identify and prioritise ICP clusters</li>
<li>Conduct competitive and pricing analyses</li>
<li>Track and assess regulatory developments</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Analytics &#x26; Business Intelligence</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Build structured market and sales datasets</li>
<li>Analyse funnels and track conversion metrics</li>
<li>Develop ROI and business case models</li>
<li>Build KPI dashboards in Google Sheets</li>
<li>Prepare data for investor and board reporting</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Strategic Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Challenge and validate key assumptions</li>
<li>Model expansion scenarios</li>
<li>Prepare decision frameworks for the founder team</li>
</ul>
<p>You will gain direct exposure to real early-stage strategy and work on the analytical foundation behind key company decisions.</p>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
<p><strong>You</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Have some initial experience in business analytics, or a background in consulting, VC or a startup</li>
<li>Think analytically and are comfortable working with numbers</li>
<li>Build clean, structured models in Google Sheets</li>
<li>Understand business models and unit economics</li>
<li>Can operate well in environments with uncertainty</li>
<li>Ask the question: <strong>What do the data actually tell us?</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Bonus</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Basic Python knowledge</li>
<li>Experience with automation tools such as n8n</li>
<li>Exposure to consulting, venture capital or strategy</li>
<li>First touchpoints with regulated industries</li>
