Job Description
You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC) in the Windows/IIS/Web Applications Support Branch (10914), IT Infrastructure & Operations Division (1091), Information Technology & Cybersecurity (ITACS) Office (109) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience analyzing and troubleshooting recurring and emergency issues with hardware, software, and firmware to restore normal operations and minimize downtime across shipyard systems. Experience leading the planning, implementation, and management of backup and recovery solutions, ensuring the integrity and recoverability of critical systems and data in accordance with Information Technology (IT) security policies. Experience supporting cybersecurity incident response efforts, diagnosing and remediating security vulnerabilities, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of shipyard systems and networks. Experience managing the lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to decommissioning, ensuring compliance with security and configuration standards while supporting the smooth operation of hardware, software, and firmware systems.
