MECHANICAL SHOP NUCLEAR MANAGER

You will serve as a MECHANICAL SHOP NUCLEAR MANAGER in the MECHANICAL SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. ***TEMPORARY PROMOTION NOT TO EXCEED 1 YEAR AND MAY BECOME PERMANENT without further competition***

**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying knowledge of radiation exposure requirement. Experience establishing schedules to support workload forecasts and ensure specialized equipment is available and maintained. Experience establishing and operating within budget controls. Experience directing the development of shop policy and process guidance documents for nuclear work. Experience managing workforce training to ensure that qualified personnel are available to meet planned and unplanned work. Experience supervising the work assigned, to include planning, execution, process management, and resource management.
