**Qualifications:**
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements. Education: As a general rule, education is not creditable above GS-5 for most positions covered by this standard; however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position. OR Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience in providing a variety of clerical and administrative duties in order to support the Bureau of Prison's National Recruitment Office (e.g., works in supporting National Recruitment Specialists to ensure verbal and written requests from staff at the Staff Training Academy, to officials such as Central Office Administrators, Wardens, Regional Directors, other federal, state and local, officials/staff, and the public are being addressed; run reports from various computer systems to manipulate and organize data into reports or logs, analyze the data and, provide information for interpretations to be used within the National Recruitment Office based on the Agency's needs with excellent grammatical correctness and free of typographical errors). Experience maintaining section's calendar based on external/internal meetings and recruitment related events, and providing excellent customer service at all levels of government and the private sector. Experience/knowledge of policies governing the federal purchase program in order to support travel expenditure, office supplies, and other expenses for the National Recruitment Office staff (e.g., will oversee daily administrative tasks as well as the business functions related to the planning and coordinating travel and recruitment events, disseminating information and resources to the field for a nationwide program; must develop knowledge of 5 CFR, Department of Justice, & Bureau of Prison (BOP) policies to administer Time & Attendance program for National Recruitment Office). If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as number of hours worked per week) spent in the activities. **Your eligibility for consideration will be based on your responses to the questions in the application.**
