<h3>About the Role</h3><p>We are developing highly autonomous, high-performance interceptor systems for military and defense applications. These systems operate under extreme dynamic, environmental, and operational conditions and must meet the highest standards of correctness, robustness, and reliability. </p><p>As a Senior Verification &amp; Validation Engineer, you will own and shape the end-to-end V&amp;V strategy for autonomous interceptor systems, spanning simulation, software, hardware, and system-level validation. Your work ensures that what we build not only works, but works predictably, repeatably, and safely under real operational conditions. </p><p>This role requires deep experience with military or safety-critical systems, strong engineering judgment, and the authority to challenge designs when evidence is insufficient.</p><p style=";"></p><h4 style=";"><strong>What is your Day to Day Mission:</strong></h4><ul><li><p>Owning the verification and validation strategy for autonomous Counter‑UAS interceptor systems</p></li><li><p>Translating system, mission, and safety requirements into verifiable and testable criteria</p></li><li><p>Designing and executing multi‑layer V&amp;V activities across simulation, software, hardware, and system levels</p></li><li><p>Performing model‑based, simulation‑driven verification and validation</p></li><li><p>Executing Software‑in‑the‑Loop and Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop test campaigns</p></li><li><p>Validating system‑level and flight‑test behavior under real operational conditions</p></li><li><p>Verifying autonomy, guidance, navigation, and control behavior including edge cases and off‑nominal scenarios</p></li><li><p>Defining and executing stress tests, fault‑injection campaigns, and robustness testing</p></li><li><p>Assessing system behavior under degraded sensors, actuators, communication loss, and jamming conditions</p></li><li><p>Evaluating performance under environmental disturbances and adversarial operational scenarios</p></li><li><p>Defining acceptance criteria and readiness gates for prototype, pre‑series, and operational systems</p></li><li><p>Collaborating closely with systems engineering, autonomy, controls, avionics, simulation, and flight‑test teams</p></li><li><p>Supporting qualification, certification, and military customer acceptance activities</p></li><li><p>Documenting V&amp;V evidence suitable for audits, reviews, and defense customer evaluations</p></li></ul><br /><br /><h4><strong>What You Bring to the Team</strong></h4><ul><li><p>Strong background in verification &amp; validation, systems engineering, or test engineering for complex systems</p></li><li><p>More than 7 years of professional experience in military, defense, aerospace, or other safety‑critical environments</p></li><li><p>Deep understanding of requirement‑based verification and system‑level validation methodologies</p></li><li><p>Experience with failure modes, hazard analysis, and risk assessment</p></li><li><p>Hands‑on experience with SITL, HITL, and simulation‑driven testing</p></li><li><p>Ability to reason about autonomous system behavior beyond component‑level correctness</p></li><li><p>Confidence to challenge assumptions, test coverage, and “happy‑path” designs</p></li><li><p>Structured, evidence‑driven mindset with strong documentation discipline</p></li><li><p>As a plus</p><ul><li><p>Experience with autonomous or semi‑autonomous weapon systems, UAVs, or interceptor platforms</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with military standards, NATO‑style qualification, and defense customer V&amp;V expectations</p></li><li><p>Experience with fault injection, robustness testing, or Monte‑Carlo analysis</p></li><li><p>Understanding of control systems and flight dynamics</p></li><li><p>Exposure to electronic warfare, degraded environments, or contested operations</p><p style=";"></p></li></ul></li></ul><h4><strong>Why Join Quantum-Systems?</strong></h4><ul><li><p>Be at the forefront of <strong>next-generation Defence innovation</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Work in a fast-paced, agile environment where your ideas make an impact.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with a team of industry pioneers who are ambitious, bold, and visionary.</p></li><li><p>Opportunities for individual and professional growth in a globally recognized organization.</p></li></ul><p style=";"></p><p><strong>About us:</strong></p><p style=";">Quantum Systems specializes in the development, design, and production of small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS).
