Job Description

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a TRAINING SPECIALIST (COMMAND AND CONTROL) (T32), Position Description Number D2386000 and is part of the RI 143d Airlift Wing. The purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, direct, implement, evaluate and manage all command and control training programs for all assigned controllers and aircrew personnel and to ensure all assigned personnel can attain and maintain certification.

**Qualifications:**
Military Grades: E-5 through E-6 You must indicate your rank somewhere on your resume. Compatible Military Assignments: For Dual-Status Technician positions service affiliation under Title 32 USC 709 is required. Military skill set is determined by AFSC/MOS requirements. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC/MOS in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and position descriptions and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC/MOS. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience that provided evidence of the ability to instruct students in the use of equipment, principles, or practices of the subject or occupation. Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and the methods and techniques of instruction. Qualifying specialized experience includes: Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s). Supervising or administering a training program. Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results. Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis.
