Program Analyst

The Bureau of Labor Statistics measures labor market activity, working conditions, price changes, and productivity in the U.S. economy to support public and private decision making. This position is with the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Office of Field Operations, Dallas Regional Office.

**Qualifications:**
Applicants must meet qualifications, legal and regulatory requirements for the position by the closing date of this announcement. For GS-12: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-11, in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Qualifying specialized experience includes: Implement information technology data processing concepts and practices including collaborating on deployments, systems expansions or upgrades and user support; AND 2 of the 4 following specialized experiences, Prepare reports, analysis, detailed action plans, and other written guidelines and recommendations for long and short-range project accomplishment; Coordinate with management and program leads to assure information gathered is complete and accurate; Brief management to explain findings and recommend appropriate changes or corrective action; Assist in performing surveys to determine compliance with regulations, procedures, and management practices.
