Senior Full Stack Engineer – PHP/Go + Flutter (m/f/x)

<h2>Your mission</h2>
<p>SIDES builds a cloud-based POS and payment operating system for the hospitality industry. We connect POS, payments, delivery platforms, kitchen tools, self-order solutions, apps, and webshops into one powerful, fully integrated platform - highly performant, scalable, and reliable, even under heavy load. <p>Our tech stack: Flutter (mobile &#x26; web), Go, PHP, and AWS - including real POS hardware seamlessly integrated into our system.</p>
<p>Your responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver features end-to-end in a cross-functional team, from ideation and design to implementation, rollout, and operations</li>
<li>Work across the entire stack, from backend to frontend</li>
<li>Use AI tools (e.g., OpenCode, Copilot) responsibly and help establish best practices within the team</li>
<li>Ensure operational quality with a strong focus on performance, security, stability, scalability, and observability</li>
<li>Actively contribute to architectural and design decisions</li>
<li>Support and grow the team through mentoring and pair programming</li>
<li>Help define and improve standards for testing, code quality, and CI/CD</li>
<li>Build clean APIs, well-designed data models, and high-performance user experiences</li>
</ul>
<h2>Your profile</h2>
<ul>
<li>Several years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer</li>
<li>Strong experience in backend development with PHP and/or Go, combined with hands-on experience in Flutter</li>
<li>Ability and willingness to work across both backend (PHP/Go) and frontend (Flutter) as part of a unified stack</li>
<li>Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality</li>
<li>Solid understanding of MySQL, relational data models, and API design</li>
<li>Experience with AWS and containerized deployments; Kubernetes is a plus</li>
<li>Systems thinking across architectural and technological boundaries</li>
<li>Independent, structured working style with strong analytical skills</li>
<li>Fluency in English (required); German is a plus</li>
