RECREATION AID (LIFEGUARD)

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation at Dyess AFB, Texas Outdoor Pool This position is considered Flex NTE 16-Aug-2026, guaranteed 00-40 hours Lifeguard Certification Reimbursement: Up to $250, rules apply.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have an approved and current national recognized certification in lifesaving and water rescue methods and skills, as well as basic first aid training, and CPR (both child and adult) training. Must have experience which provides a practical knowledge of swimming activities, rules and procedures and skill in the use and maintenance of various pool and safety equipment is desirable. Satisfactory completion of installation record checks, state and national criminal background checks are required.
