Job Description
This position is for a Budget Analyst located in the Department of Commerce (DOC), Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of Budget (OCFO/B). This position is responsible for a broad range of administrative, technical, and analytical functions related to the formulation, execution, presentation, and review of BIS staffing and budget programs. **Qualifications:**
To qualify at the GS-9 level: You must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Collecting and organizing budget or financial data for analysis; Preparing routine budget reports, spreadsheets, or summaries; and Identifying discrepancies in budget data and referring issues to higher-graded staff. Education substitution at GS-9 level: Master's or equivalent graduate degree in a related field; or Two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
