Senior QA Engineer (m/f/d)

<h2>Tasks</h2>
<p><strong>Your Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own and evolve the end-to-end test strategy across mobile (iOS & Android), Web and API layers.</li>
<li>Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks in Python and TypeScript using tools like Appium, Playwright, and Maestro.</li>
<li>Define and track quality metrics (coverage, flakiness, escape defects)</li>
<li>Design scalable CI/CD quality gates and optimize feedback loops</li>
<li>Establish strategies for performance, reliability, and resilience testing</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to shift testing left, embedding quality from design through delivery.</li>
<li>Introduce advanced testing approaches (e.g., contract testing, mocking, service virtualization).</li>
<li>Drive system testability and influence architecture decisions.</li>
<li>Proactively identify coverage gaps, flaky tests, and systemic risk areas and fix them.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
<p><strong>Your Profile:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of hands-on QA/test automation experience, including Web and Mobile applications.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, test case design, and defect management.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ownership of QA strategy in complex, distributed systems</li>
<li>Deep expertise in test automation architecture and scalable test design</li>
<li>Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch) to support test coverage, incident analysis, and root cause investigations</li>
<li>Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines and working in agile environments.</li>
<li>A fast learner who picks up new tools, frameworks, and domains quickly and independently.</li>
<li>Strong communicator who can explain a flaky test failure to a developer and a quality risk to a product manager.</li>
<li>Experience in influencing engineering and product decisions through quality insights</li>
<li>Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.</li>
