TECHNICAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Technical Information Specialist in the Technical Data Unique Fleet Support Team of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Possessing an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of techniques, methods, and sources for handling technical information; 2) Demonstrating experience in assigning indexing terms to information, with the ability to modify standard practices; 3) Maintaining proficiency in Automatic Data Processing (ADP) to manage information within computer databases; 4) Exhibits a mastery of complex research and analysis strategies, coupled with strong oral and written communication skills; 5) Understanding a wide range of procurement rules, regulations, and acquisition policies; 6) Holds comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of the methods, techniques, and principles for locating information from diverse sources; 7) Demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of cataloging and classification principles for specialized and complex materials.
