Job Description
You will serve as a Resource Coordinator (Piping Group) in the Pipe Shop (960), Production Resources Department Manager (901), Production Resources Department (900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
**Qualifications:**
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with pipefitting or insulation for repair and modernization of ships and submarines. Experience utilizing qualifications/certifications and certification trees within the WAYPOINTS system for pipefitting or insulation required for assignment perform work onboard ships and submarines. Experience establishing and maintaining logs, records, or databases to track employee interest and availability for off base work, current location, qualifications and training, and similar information. Experience with conventional manpower and organizational control, theories, principles, and practices that govern manpower authorization and manning plans. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with nuclear and non-nuclear production trade and technical methods, procedures, materials and processes associated with the repair and overhaul of complex Navy vessels. Experience planning and coordinating complex ship repair, overhaul, and installation projects to understand scheduling, resource, and qualification requirements. Experience assisting with project management, quality control, cost control, schedule control, and workflow control techniques.
