ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (NAVIGATION)

You will serve as a Electronics Technician (Navigation) in the Department of the Navy of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA, Spain.

**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing technical services to include, inspecting, repairing, and providing training on navigation equipment and systems (e.g. WSN-7 Ring Laser Inertial Navigator, SSN-6 NAVSSI, AN/SSN-9 GPNTS, Electromagnetic Log (EMLOG), MV103 Fluxgate Magnetic Compass, Integrated Bridge Navigation System (IBNS/IBS)); 2) Troubleshooting, repairing, and configuring Navigation Systems and their interfaces; 3) Utilizing associated engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical, electrical, electronic, and structural) to resolve problems affecting the Navigation systems; 4) Providing technical assistance for mission degrading Casualty Reports (CASREP).
