Information Technology Specialist (Enterprise Architecture)

In this position you will be responsible for assisting in defining and maintaining the Infrastructure architecture for Marketing and Regulatory Programs (MRP), focusing on the structure, organization, and interoperation of hardware to support business requirements, including their distribution MRP-wide. The incumbent reports to the Enterprise Hosting Branch Chief but have a larger role in providing supervision and direction to a diverse group of skilled section members.

**Qualifications:**

TIME-IN-GRADE: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. FOR THE GS-13 LEVEL: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-12 level) that may have been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors which demonstrates: Administering and supporting enterprise Linux environments (e.g., RHEL) using tools such as Red Hat Satellite for lifecycle management Implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and/or Bicep to provision. Administering and supporting Azure IaaS and PaaS services including Windows and Linux virtual machines, storage, identity integrations, application services, Kubernetes, and security/compliance controls. nstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
