ENGINEER or SCIENTIST

You will serve as a CHIEF ANALYST in the Deputy Technical Directors Office (TDB) of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

**Qualifications:**
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: conceiving and executing measurements and analysis plans, leveraging knowledge of acoustic technology, systems engineering, tactical oceanography, and submarine systems to lead interdisciplinary teams in solving problems and integrating prototype capabilities. A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical information to both warfighting and technical communities is essential.
