THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY FACILITY PLANS & PROGRAMS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number PDD1127000 and is part of the WY Construction and Facilities Management Office, Wyoming Army National Guard. This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.

Para/Line: 1220/010 Selecting Official: LTC Michael Kingman AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: Referrals of qualified applicants will be issued in the following order: Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ARNG employees assigned to the CFMO. Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming National Guard. Area 4: All current Drill Status Airmen and M-day soldiers of the Wyoming National Guard. Area 6: Current military members of the United States military branches or prior service members of one of those military branches. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Army National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position. MILITARY GRADE Min: O1 Max: O4 This is not a commissioning opportunity. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work involves managing, supervising, leading, or performing administrative work that involves: a combination of characteristics of two or more series in the Equipment, Facilities, and Services Group where no one type of work is series controlling; or work classified in this group for which no other series has been established. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Must possess experience, education, or training which has provided you with a knowledge of equipment maintenance work, or skill in reading engineering drawings and specifications, using test instruments, making computations, and keeping records; and experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience to at least the next lower grade (e.g., GS-11) that provided experience in applying principles, concepts, and methods of equipment, facility, or service operations sufficient in planning assignments. Experience using well-established occupational methods and techniques to determine facility, grounds, equipment overhaul, maintenance, restoration, repair needs, etc. Experience in determination of resource needs, allocation of resources, and budgeting/funding needs. Experience in human resources management policy matters affecting the entire organization, with personnel actions affecting key employees to include experience coordinating work forces and resources and negotiating with management or clients concerning problems. SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience in managing the function of the work to be performed; and experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. NOTE: Basic Requirements, Specialized, and Supervisory Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.
