Job Description

**Qualifications:**
Recent Graduate Program Eligibility: To meet these requirements at the GS-07 grade level, you must have obtained a qualifying bachelor's or equivalent degree from a qualifying educational institution within the previous 2 years from the close of the announcement date. To meet these requirements at the GS-09 grade level, you must have obtained a qualifying master's, professional, doctoral, or technical/vocational degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution within the previous2 years from close of announcement date. Preference-eligible veterans who have been precluded from applying due to their military service obligation have as much as 6 years after acquiring a qualifying degree to apply. Qualification Requirements: All applicants must meet one of the of the following eligibility requirements to qualify for this position at the respective grade levels below: At the GS-07 grade level: A Bachelor's or equivalent degree, preferably in a field requiring one or more of the following: 1) Collecting and analyzing information from diverse data sources; 2) Evaluating internal and external policy; 3) Communicating complex issues both in writing and verbally; 4) Possessing knowledge of how to use various databases and spreadsheets, and developing graphs, charts, or other data visualizations to organize, analyze, and present a variety of data. 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, OR Specialized experience at the GS-5 level received from paid or unpaid experience that has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience include but are not limited to: 1) Collecting and analyzing information from diverse data sources; 2) Evaluating internal and external policy; 3) Communicating complex issues both in writing and verbally; 4) Possessing knowledge of how to use various databases and spreadsheets, and developing graphs, charts, or other data visualizations to organize, analyze, and present a variety of data. At the GS-09 grade level: A Master's or equivalent degree, OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, OR LL.B. or J.D., if related, OR Specialized experience at the GS-7 level received from paid or unpaid experience that has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience include but are not limited to: 1) Collecting and analyzing information from diverse data sources; 2) Interviewing individuals to gather information; 3) Evaluating internal and external policy; 4) Communicating complex and/or controversial issues both in writing and verbally; 5) Possessing sound knowledge of how to use various databases and spreadsheets, and developing graphs, charts, and other data visualizations to organize, analyze, and present a variety of data. You have to meet the requirements within 90 days of the closing date on the announcement.
