Physician Assistant III ( Deputy Chief Health Informatics Officer)

The VAMC in Louisville, KY is recruiting for a Physician Assistant III (PA) assigned in the Office of the Chief of Staff to perform duties as Deputy Chief Health Informatics Officer (Deputy CHIO). The position occupies the role of Deputy Chief Health Informatics Officer and oversees the comprehensive supervision of both professional and administrative facets, as well as the personnel within the data analytics department.

Physician Assistant Basic Requirements Master's degree in any discipline or a bachelor's degree in any discipline with one year of experience as a Physician Assistant ~AND~ Successfully passed the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) (or are you in the process to taking the exam) ~AND~ Currently hold, or will hold, a full and unrestricted license to practice in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia. Preferred Experience: 2 years progressive leadership in healthcare informatics. Evidence of change management skills, process improvement and large-scale implementations.
