**Qualifications:**
To qualify at the GS-14 level you must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the public or private sector performing the following types of tasks: (1) advising senior level management and program managers concerning complex financial and budgetary issues; (2) providing technical advice on the budget process (i.e. formulation, execution, and presentation); (3) analyzing financial data to ensure the financial feasibility of an organization; (4) developing guidance, policies, and procedures related to budget and financial management. Experience to include paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You will receive credit for all experience material to the position, including experience gained in religious, civic, welfare, service, and organizational activities, regardless of whether you received pay.
