Senior IT Cybersecurity Specialist, CG-2210-15

This position is located in the Chief Information Officer Organization (CIOO), Office of the Chief Information Security Officer, Security Engineering and Architecture Section of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for implementing IT and cybersecurity projects, planning and policy management. **Qualifications:**
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify for the CG-15: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CG-14 level in the federal service which includes experience implementing policies, identifying, and addressing technical gaps, and recommending solutions related to Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) functions and applying cybersecurity prinicples to safeguard systems and data. You must have Information Technology (IT)-related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the following competencies: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
