About the Position: This position is in 35th Medical Group Misawa AB, Japan, serve as a Clinical Psychologist (Behavioral Health Consultant) to deliver evidence-based biopsychosocial assessment, treatment, prevention and management of behavioral health problems. This is an open continuous announcement. The initial cut-off dates are 09 April 2026, thereafter, 16, 30 April, 14, 28 May, 11, 25 June, 9 July 2026. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist (Behavioral Health Consultant): Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology. AND License: The Clinical Psychologist position requires a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction. (NOTE: You must provide a copy of a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license with your application package.) In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
