This position is located at Outdoor Recreation, Naval Base Guam. The mission of Joint Region Marianas (JRM) Warfighter & Family Readiness (WFR) is to provide the highest quality programs and services to the military community through self-sustainment across all quality of life programs.

Knowledge of safe and efficient operating techniques of various large equipment and power tools: (Operates a variety of power equipment to include, but not limited to: posthole diggers, blowers, weed eaters, power washers, mowers, box trucks with lift gate, etc.). Ability to operate and control riding mowers on slopes which requires constant attention to working space and environment. Ability to safely operate equipment around buildings, walls, trees, fence lines, banks and hillsides, trenches, curbs, rocks and other visible obstacles. Ability to operate various controls and levers to maneuver equipment and lift/lower, adjust, engage/disengage components or attached devices. Knowledge and skill using hand tools and other equipment such as: shovels, rakes, hammers, bars, saws, axes, loppers, wrenches, brushes, brooms, ladders, banding equipment, and pallet jacks. Ability to complete assignments involving several tasks by following detailed processes which require remembering directions, sequences, following simple drawings, etc. Ability to follow general instructions or read simple drawings to perform tasks requiring significant manual skill. Exerts very heavy physical effort, frequently lifting and moving objects weighing over 70 lbs., operating power mowers on grades, towing trailers, pushing heavy wheelbarrow loads of dirt, sand or playground fill, raking and shoveling dirt or sand, and using a pallet jack to move materials and equipment.
