Recreation Assistant

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Dobbins Outdoor Recreation on Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia. The purpose of this position is to performs and/or assists in operation and maintenance of recreational facilities The position is a flexible position, which means you are not guaranteed hours or benefits but could work anywhere between 0 and 40 hours per week.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience demonstrating a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures in a recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned; ability and skill in dealing with the public.
